Our Story
Brett asked Danielle to be his girlfriend in December 2014 just before she left for winter break. She obviously said yes!
They moved to Ottawa (thanks to Brett's love for the SENS), where they have two beautiful cats, Rosie and Amelia.
Brett asked Danielle to marry him on a very cold and windy day in February 2022. They went on a hike at Eagles Nest in Calabogie, where Brett got on one knee and popped the question. Again, she obviously said yes!
Brett and Danielle are very excited about this next phase of their life and are very grateful they get to celebrate it with you!

Maid of Honor
Kirsten and Danielle have been friends since junior kindergarten. Yes, you read that correctly, they have been friends since they were about 5 years old. If you want to know embarrassing stories about Danielle in elementary school, who Danielle went to prom with or stories about the first time Kirsten met Brett, be sure to find her!
If you run into Kirsten on the dance floor, be sure to ask her about her cute as-can-be dogo, her veggie and flower gardens or about gluten free recipes.
CHRISTOPHER
Best Man
Chris and Brett met in grade 5 in Trenton. They are a part of a tight knit group of friends that are still close today. Coincidently, both Brett and Chris (& Mike, shout out to you Mike) all moved to Ottawa. In Ottawa, Brett and Chris spend every waking moment playing golf or fishing. If you want to know funny stories about Brett and their friends growing up, Chris is the best person to talk to!
Find Chris and ask him about his undying love of the Ottawa Senators, tanks, escape rooms or board games.
Jessica
Bridesmaid
Jessica is the smarter, wittier, cooler older sibling in the Hall family. Danielle lucked out getting Jessica as a sister-in-law. From the moment they met, Jessica welcomed Danielle into the family with open arms. They have shared many laughs over cocktails and board games, danced to music in the living room and love to get outdoors together.
Be sure to find Jessica at the wedding and ask her about her AMAZING trips to Ireland and Italy, her cute cat, Mischa, or anything outdoorsy!
James
Groomsman
James is the smarter, more adventurous, cooler older sibling in the Roberts family. Brett is thankful to have someone to talk hockey and golf with. James has always been very welcoming to Brett, he even shares a hotel room with him on the annual golf trip.
Be sure to find James at the wedding and ask him about how GREAT the Leafs are, his beautiful family (Brittany and AJ) or his cute pup, Murphy.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by May 1st! Please RSVP on the RSVP page of this website after receiving your formal invitation.
What time should I arrive?
Please note the wedding will start promptly at 5 PM, and if you know Danielle you know it will start on time! Please give yourself plenty of time to be seated before five.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outside followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking at Deer Creek, you can leave your car parked overnight. The venue asks that vehicles are picked up by noon the following day. If you drive to the ceremony and need to find a way home or to your hotel please feel free to ask a member of the bridal party or the bride and groom's parents, they will be happy to help!
Can I bring my kids, or a date?
We are so excited to celebrate with you! Due to space restrictions, regrettably we can only accommodate the individuals named on your invitation.
Is it okay to take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask that you please turn off all cell phones and cameras during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer and will be happy to share the professional photos with everyone! After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you like, the more the better!
I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?
There are two hotels close to the venue, please visit the "Travel" page for more information.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception areas are accessible. The restrooms are also located on the same level as the reception area. Please let a member of the bridal party know if you need any assistance and they would be happy to help!
